Smoketown Station is a large retail plaza located near I-95 in Prince William County, Virginia. Prior to its development as a suburban shopping center, the property was an unsightly auto junkyard. Cafritz purchased the site in 1989 and completed extensive environmental reclamation work. Following the reclamation and rezoning in 1990, the property was developed in phases, then sold in 1994.
Smoketown Station tenants include Shoppers Food Warehouse, Lowe's, and several other shops and restaurants.
